I'm for opening schools. I agree that the harms done by keeping them home outweigh the health risks, and I'm a teacher dead in the middle of a hot spot.
I am concerned for family members of students and the staff they come in contact with as well as staff with other staff, but personally, I want to be with my kids, face-to-face. I know that puts me at risk, and I worry about my wife and her two conditions that put her at higher risk, but she's prepared to teach kinder in August- face-to-face.
