Now a for making male friends in a new city, yeah that’s a difficult one. Work is one place, but beyond that, it can be tough. I found that out when I moved to Chicago in my late 20’s....

Yes. Go for the exam you are currently stronger in (AUD or REG).

We're on an internet forum. Of course we want to know about them.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

Well it's hard for me to randomly tell them without being prompted. If y'all were to ask specifics, I would indulge you

"Statement win" is another annoying and overused new sports catch phrase.

The Yankees Game 1 win over the Rays was called a "statement win".
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

I am sick and tired of hearing baseball teams ( and just about everything else ) being described as " resilient ".

See I hate golf. So I’m never going to think of that suggestion.

Now I did join the Boston Ski and Sports Club when I was still in MA, and it served the same purpose. But I didn’t use that example because I didn’t do it in Chicago...

At some point, you’re just going to come off as “cranky”...

LOL I was trying to think of a nicer way to say that.

Actually Denny, I don't think of you as cranky, but as one who uses many of the terms and phrases that you are sick and tired of, I guess I will apologize in advance. LOL

I think the word 'resilient' is a rather fine word.

Resilient is a very good word. It got used a whole lot more after last night's game LOL

I think the problem is that people, and especially the sports media, tend to fall in love with certain words and expressions and use them to death.

Like "extra-curricular activity" during a skirmish in football
