Well, I see starting out by myself in a studio/1 bedroom as a viable option, at least when I first start out, but I am afraid it will prevent me from being as sociable as one should be, especially if I'm going to be spending those first 18 months studying for CPA exams

Yes, every cpa firm I worked for, all the staff and senior accountants all bond really well. Just make sure to go out with them for drinks even if you aren't drinking. They'll help you get through the studying bullshit too. It's always nice to commiserate with others.
