Ok. That was a misstatement on my part. I see them as equally bad. When it comes to Trump, all the obvious concerns are there for me, like every time he opens his mouth or opens Twitter. The LGBTQ stuff is a big red flag, especially as somebody who has questioned their own sexuality (to some extent) in the past. But, Biden hasn't exactly been open and affirming for most of his life. I don't know how I feel about this ICE thing yet. I will say that I do support most of his views on immigration. I'm all for giving people the opportunity to thrive here, but they have to follow the rules and come here the right way. Like I've said numerous times, I like where the economy has been at under Trump, and as for his foreign policy, I could go on all day about that. Kim and North Korea definitely played us, and he's definitely not doing us any favors with Israel and the Saudis, even though Israel has their own mess going on now. I do support a healthier relationship with Russia and it has been nice to see that. The way I see it, both countries are better off if we get along. I don't know what to think about China.

Turning to Biden now, his senility and temperament are issues 1A and 1B for me. I don't want somebody who has verbally abused voters on multiple occasions to be in charge of the nuclear code. While Biden is not far left like you pointed out, I think he will fill his cabinet, as well as his VP, with people that are, and I think that could be a dangerous combination with a Democratic controlled legislative branch, especially if something were to happen to him due to his age. Yes, I know, Trump is no spring chicken either, but at most, Trump would only serve 4 more years, while Biden could potentially serve for 8. In general, I support the push for social equality, but I think under Biden, the Progressive/far left movement will force whites to sacrifice too much in order to even the playing field, and I'm not in support of that. There will always be privileged and underprivileged people in society. We can adjust the system so that minorities aren't unfairly put in a situation where they become underprivileged, but trying to eliminate all forms of inequalities is a futile movement.

Fair enough. I get your fears about lefties in his cabinet, but I seriously doubt he goes against his own beliefs, and if he does put some lefties, he'll put a few righties in, too. He doesn't need to move left to win or to try and get re-elected, although I think he said he will only serve one term- not that he will.

I also have to say this: T Rump ran against Obama's economy- berating it up and down and sideways , but mostly on jobs creation and claims that the unemployment numbers are a sham. He is running fro re-election on the basis of the numbers before COVID, yet if Obama's numbers were so horrific, how can he say his were great?

It's a fact he created less jobs in 3 years than Obama's last 3 years, in fact T Rump's best year doesn't beat any of Obama's last 3 years. "His economy" is what you like most about him, but he was doing worse than Obama/Biden did.

Now, he praises the unemplyment numbers he used to shun, plus the drop in unemployment was no steeper on his watch than Obama's.

BTW, I'm no Obama fan, but he took over under an intense situation when some were warning of a depression, some warned of gas prices going above $5.00 and taxes like Europe. Obama was to the left of Biden. He chose Biden to balance the ticket to the center. I'm not seeing the big left scare so many are hyping.

The mental acuity aspect is legit, but I also see T Rump as having dangerous mental issues that make him, IMO, much more likely to push the button than Biden.

3. End cooperation with immigration authorities.

6. Allowing local and state resident voting for illegal immigrants.

The media is so disingenuous about the tax return issue saying that Trump is hiding his tax returns and refuses to disclose them. Well, that is completely false. The tax returns were timely filed with the IRS, NY and various other jurisdictions. Those returns are under review by teams of people at those bureaucracies who are familiar with his businesses. If there is any criminality in the returns, the IRS would be investigating that and prosecuting any crimes. Nothing has been hidden and the Mueller team would have had access to those returns if he thought that the Trump businesses had been money laundering or committing another crime. The Special Prosecutor had broad investigative authority.

Any public official under active audit would be a fool to disclose the returns publicly, because in addition to contending with the IRS on every issue, every Trump hating tax expert would be offering their expertise to the IRS on every issue. Dealing with and contending with the IRS during an audit is daunting enough. That’s why he will not disclose them, because the issues are still open and they should be negotiated in the proper venue.

I'm reading up on Biden's policies as we speak, straight from his website. It's not perfect, but it's not as biased as some of the other sites out there, and I would rather here it straight from him (through his staff) then some random person's interpretation

It seems to me that it is inevitable that the left gains control of the government . If not this year , then pretty soon after that . They have a system in place where they have control of the influential entertainment industry ( including professional sports ) , they have control of the media ( including the all - important Internet giants ) and they have control of the educational system ( especially higher education ) . That is a formula to gain power and keep it for a long time . The only question is how will they govern . Will it be the standard liberal / progressive agenda or will they go radical and make drastic changes ? And exactly how might it change our way of life ?
