Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1
The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
This may be hindsight, but what if instead of signing Beckett, Crawford and Gonzalez, the Red Sox offered Mrs. Betts' teenage son their combined $364 Million? Do you think Mookie would've signed then? Probably not... he was always betting on himself to sprint under the toasty warmth of sun-splashed palm trees...

In regards to Dalbec hitting 30 or more homers, no Red Sox rookie has ever hit more than 34, that was Walt Droppo in 1950. Ted Williams hit 31 in his rookie season in 1939 and Nomar Garciaparra hit 30 in 1997. That's it. Just three Red Sox rookies with 30 or more homers.
Dalbec hitting 35.
Can't really argue, but I still have the CC dump at #3.
I loved the OCab deal, but it was for just 3 months. (maybe #7)
Beckett & Lowell helped bring us the 2007 ring, but we gave up a lot (Maybe #6).
The Schill trade was very nice, but DLR did put up a 107 ERA+ in his first 4 years w COL. (111 year 2-4). Schill's playoff heroics will never be forgotten. (#4 or 5)
Chris Freakin' Sale! What can I say? We gave up a lot, but the jury is still out on them. (#4- maybe 5, but I'd say ahead of Schill.)
When you say it's gonna happen now
When exactly do you mean?
In November an astute poster offered a favorable Bobby Dalbec comp to 2020 AL Rookie of the Year Kyle Lewis:

Objectivity is a heavy cross to bear.
Through the offseason Rafael Devers has been a more frequent topic than Bobby Dalbec.
Objective responses to bias on a Red Sox forum will counter a pro-Red Sox bias more frequently than other biases.
It's not practical to track down all posts that reflect objectively but here is another example:

Be well.
