The guys has been awesome since coming on to replace Judge. His offense has been top notch showing power and far more patience. Plus defense this year has really helped. He’s always had the speed, but he didn’t have the maturity to utilize his speed and skills in the right way to make the catch. He’d lay out when he wasn’t near the ball, take haphazard routes, get his feet tangled going back on a ball. This year, he’s worked his way into the Yankee plans, and with Judge, Urshela and Stanton coming back, Frazier has earned a starting spot with the Yanks. Boone has said he will be shuttling between LF and RF. I’d presume he’ll be in RF when he spells Judge (who likely will get the Gleyber treatment and play 2 out of every 3 games) and then start in LF the other games. Really nice to see him reach his potential.
