I don't care how meaningless this was, it was a feel good game all around for Sox fans and a good way to end the season series against the Yankees.

Best part - knocking Garcia out of the game after only 3 innings.

Hey, we avoided the season sweep. That counts for a lot

We have the Yankees right where we want them for next season.

Well, before today's game, that didn't seem all that out of the question.

Let's see how he finishes the season and looks in spring training.

It's nice to have hopes about one of our pitchers from our system.
    Sox 4 Ever

Well, glad I missed that one. Deivi and his softer, moving stuff played right into Chavis’ game

Maybe he has been there since last October . At Fenway , as on TalkSox forum , strange things are happening . Things perhaps beyond our comprehension .

Love what I am seeing from houck. His pitching is unique, he hides the ball really well, looks like the Yankees had a hard time picking it up.

Agreed. A lot depends on what happens over the winter in terms of pitching, but I expect to see Houck with the team sooner rather than later.

Strange things, indeed. I read that he climbed the outside of the Green Monster to get in. A 37 foot wall? Are you kidding me?

Also, he was not arrested, but taken for a psychiatric evaluation instead.

    13 to be exact!
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Hopefully, he'll be under the care of Nurse Ratched. She'll have him cured in no time.
