When you say it's gonna happen now
When exactly do you mean?
Jackie Bradley Jr., apparently posted last week from Naples, Florida, 35 miles south of Fenway South Park in Fort Myers:

FWIW
Bradley's agent, Scott Boras, also represents J.D. Martinez, who three years ago signed with the Red Sox on February 26. Martinez reportedly remains in contact with Bradley:

It doesn't. You originally noted that he was posting from Naples and that it was close to Ft Myers. It's relation to Ft Myers is only important because that's where he used to play in the winter from 2014 - 2020. The fact that he's there now has no bearing on his interest in signing with the Sox. If he wanted to sign elsewhere, there are a few teams also currently in FL that showed interest. Maybe he's down there in hopes of latching on with another team? Maybe he's down there just to get away from the winter? I don't think it's any indication of his willingness to play for the Sox.
So if oft-injured Franchy Cordero is actually injured to start the season, who are the candidates to replace him?
If he is the LF, is Marwin Gonzalez the likely replacement? But what if he is in CF?
The 40 man roster has only two other outfielders on it - Marcus Wilson and Jeisson Rosario. Rosario has never played above A ball and Wilson is not all that impressive, but is at leat close to MLB.
Duran? But someone has to go to get him on the 40 man. Chavis? Is he really considered OF depth?
