    Bonaci
    Lugo (low)
    Ockimey
    Wilson
I think Rosario & Potts could be the real sleepers.

Jimenez could jump once we get a larger sample size of viewings.

I agree on all your "high" and "low" comments.

(I like these rankings more than soxprospects.com.)

It makes sense that Dalbec and Houck should be towards the top of the list due to their MLB experience.

I think Casas is the best player by far.

I think the next tier includes Mata/Houck/Dalbec/Downs and the order doesn't matter.

After that is Jiminez/Duran/Seabold/Ward/Song/Yorke/Groome and the order doesn't matter.

After that is the rest of the top 30 guys and they are all bunched up too.

I'd sneak Rosario into that last group- maybe Potts, too.

I would agree with Potts, Rosario didn't have a good fall instructs, apparently.

OTM is tracking where major lists rank the pipeline:

    https://www.overthemonster.com/2020/...bec-bryan-mata

General consensus is that Casas is 1 and Downs is 2. Nobody has Houck higher than 7.

Rosario is supposed to be an excellent defensive CF'er, my guess is better than Duran and Wilson.

He gets on base but has a low SLG %.

I'm hoping he gets a look at AA, this year.

I can see why he belongs in the third tier.

One of the biggest detractors for baseball was the loss of the minors. For a prospect-nick like me, it has almost entirely destroyed my love for the process and the system. You have a full season with zero data, no scouting reports, nothing.
    Hal sucks

And the scouting reports you do have are very organizationally biased.

And entirely meaningless. Yes, a guy can look good in a scrimmage, but when the game is going, that is where you get a full test of their capability. 2020 will alter the prospect landscape for sure

The hardest to evaluate are the younger prospects. What kind of workouts did some do vs others? Nobody really saw line, in-game scenarios, so it's easy to assume almost all stayed at the same level or regressed, but their now a year older( and "wiser?" Probably, not).

Some might improve due to their body's maturation or by resting an ailing arm or knee more than they might otherwise had done.

We could see some very sloppy minor league games to start the season. We could see a rash of injuries.

    soxprospects.com reports:

Denyi Reyes, who pitched five shutout innings for Escogido, allowing just two hits. He struck out two batters and now has a WHIP of 0.46 on the year while not allowing a run over three starts. Joel Payamps also did not allow a run, delivering three scoreless frames across two appearances with two hits against two strikeouts. Raynel Espinal appeared in two games, delivering 3 1/3 innings of one-run ball. He allowed six baserunners on three hits and three walks while striking out one batter for Gigantes. Deivy Grullon did not fare well at the plate, hitting 1 for 11 across three games with four strikeouts.

That's why I ignore every prospect who has yet to play in AA. The attrition rates before AA make A ball prospects invisible to me...

There are a few, like Devers, who catch my eye in single A, but by and large, you are right.

Worcester, Portland, Greenville and Salem will remain affiliates, per BA's report. It also is reporting Greenville is High A and Salem is Low A now

    No more Spinners for now.
