Theo left both teams in similar situations.

He got both teams their much needed and long-awaited ring(s).

He left both teams with some salary & roster issues.

I'm not bashin' the guy. He's the G.O.A.T.!

The dream GM wins championships and leaves the team in great shape too.

I'm not sure that man exists in reality...
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Some pundits have speculated Epstein may transition into a career of a different type of public servant. If he runs in '24, do we still get to type about him -- at least as a Red Sox Hall of Famer?

Ah. Totally understandable. I can relate

Gotta be Cleveland. Just gotta be. He’s already a freaking legend. Imagine if he breaks all 3 curses?

A Theo/Tito reunion would be awesome. Theo is still the GOAT.

This will make some of our anti-analytics people happy:

Mazz: Even Theo Epstein thinks the MLB product stinks

By Tony Massarotti, 98.5 The Sports Hub

“It is the greatest game in the world but there are some threats to it because of the way the game is evolving, and I take some responsibility for that because the executives like me who have spent a lot of time using analytics and other measures to try and optimize individual and team performance have unwittingly had, you know, a negative impact on the aesthetic value of the game and the entertainment value of the game. I mean, clearly, you know the strikeout rate is a little bit out of control and we need to find a way to get more action in the game, get the ball in play more often, allow players to show their athleticism some more and give the fans more of what they want.”

    I can’t argue with that.

Breaking news -Theo Epstein will join the commissioners office as a consultant regarding on field matters. MLB will announce today.

Managers must wear gorilla suits going forward.

This is like the union steward joining management during a labor dispute.

I trust Theo's input in making the game better than what I've seen from Manfred.
