What Really Grinds My Gears 2.0

Let's see how long this one lasts before becoming infected by the plague...

I really like this thread, and talking about our lives with each other, so thought I would give this a shot.

I'm usually pretty laid back, but I get bugged by bad drivers.

    Slow in the passing lane.
    No turn signals.
Moving into the left lane to take a wide right turn.

    Just a few gear-grinders.

The problem with these threads is that they become very repetitive . I hate it when people repeat themselves . I hate it when people repeat themselves. I hate it when people repeat themselves.

I concur with all of those. I also get bugged by people that come to a complete stop to make a right turn and people that cut corners when turning left (when I'm in the lane they cut into).

100% - one of my biggest pet peeves of them all.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

It appears some don't even realize the issue they are causing.

I have come to the conclusion that I'm the only person on the road that knows how to drive correctly.

We, the posters of Talksox, are masters of repeating ourselves and beating those dead horses into the ground.

We beat the ghosts of dead horses sometimes.

Not that there is anything wrong with it. It gives us something to pass the time.

Is “beating a dead horse into the ground” a portmanteau of two separate cliches?

Considering I'm moving to Massachusetts in 6 months, I should probably adopt that mindset as well...
