Have a feeling Deivi is gonna spend some time in the bigs before anticipated. German is either gonna be defiant and great or bomb out entirely. Not sure if there’s a middle ground here

German is the Yasiel Puig of the pitching world.

So far, teams aren’t lining up to sign Puig...

Puig was sued for alleged sexual assault October 30/20 (the alleged assault occurred in 2018). No idea if the case was ever settled. But for me it was kind of the last straw as far as ever seeing him in a Sox uniform.

If he’s on the team, I hope he does well. If he’s off the team, he can go screw.

If he was on the Red Sox, I wouldn't care if he did well. I don't want that dude on my team.

Same goes for Osuna, as well as Correa, Altuve, Bregman and Springer

Britton getting an MRI on his elbow. They are not expecting it to be a UCL injury, but they wont know til the MRI is done. He's a huge cog in that pen.
    Hal sucks

Pitchers, man. They seem to be getting more fragile all the time, don't they?

They should just prescribe rest and rehab for a few months, then wait until the end of the summer for TJ so he misses all of 2022, too.

That rest and rehab strategy thing is a plot to drive us all insane.

Puig is one of those guys where is both surprising and yet still unsurprising that he cannot get a job...

Will need surgery to remove a bone spur in his elbow. They say recovery is about a month, but I would bet we don't see him pitching on the big league team until May.

Opens up the door for our under the radar lefty, Luetge, who has been pretty dominant this spring (for whatever that's worth).

It’s actually better news than I expected. They’re gonna slow play Britton. They’re gonna need him second half more than first. He’ll be shut down for a month, but will need to restart a throwing program. I expect he won’t return for 3 months
