Yeah, it's quite possible we're chasing a second wild card spot. Which I would take.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Nah it was sided specially in the 4th where the ump killed Cease, then it was pretty easy for NYY and the rest is history.

Said that you were very lucky in this series. You turned a lot of ridiculous DP and even a TP when the WS had everything to take the lead with zero outs in several situations. Let's see if your luck continuous moving forward.

The 3 best records are in the ALE.

The 3 best NL records are in the NL West.

    Has that ever happened?

The Yankees lead the league in GIDPs this season. So who is unlucky? And the half inning before the triple play the Yankees had two men on and one out, and Voit hit a 107MPH rocket right at the third baseman for a double play. Does that not count as unlucky? You choose to see what you want to see.

My point is that some key DPs and specially that TP won't happen again 99/100 of the times, plus bad calling game by the umps in key situations taxed the WS way more.

Shit happens, this time for the WS, who had a lot of opportunities to put the series in a different situation.

Again... let's see if this continuous.

    Sure we'll see.

Also for anyone who thinks a game is umped unfairly, this independent twitter account grades the umpire's accuracy for every MLB game:

    https://twitter.com/umpscorecards?lang=en

They have not released yesterday's game ratings yet but here are the first two:

Also yesterday's game's umpire rating is below. Based on all three of these the Yankees got the worse calls in every game this series.

    Last 10:

    10-0 TBR

    8-2 NYY

    7-3 BOS

It's not like the Sox are choking.

I don't think anyone has said such. All 3 teams are playing good ball right now, and whoever can sustain it the longest will be the one to pull away. Of course my money is on the Yankees being that team, but things can change quickly. We shall see.

Yes, I know nobody said we were choking, but right now the Yanks and Rays are red hot.

It may not last much longer.

The start of June has the Yanks playing TBR & BOS, the Sox playing at HOU and then NYY.

Well I've been hearing that since Sox are there and haven't happened. Good luck with that.
