Kluber was named pitcher of the week to nobody’s surprise. Last 2 starts, only 3BB in 14.2IP. First 4 games, 11BB in 15IP. Needless to say, he’s found his location which is bad news for AFC foes

When your team is so bad that you're already into football season.

Rumor has it that the Yankees are one of Aaron Rodgers' top three trade destinations

Lol, I was doing a lot of NFL draft texts and it autocorrected.

Been a long time since I've heard that kind of energy at any sporting event. Should be a fun, tense, and stressful game.

Good start so far. Up 1, with 2 men on and nobody out.

Odor looks like he blew out his knee

Ugly play from start to finish. Lucky nobody stepped on the bat and broke an ankle

I think it looked worse than it actually was just because Odor was running full speed. Wasn't a head on collision like in the old days.

My early takeaway from tonight was that German managed to have a great peripherals line while looking bad. His stuff was all over the place, but 5 baserunners in 5 innings with 6K's is pretty good, but the 2HR isnt. Yanks put runners on and it was an infield hit that broke it all open. 4 more outs and we can put this one in the books. No way I thought we win this one with Greinke facing German, but Greinke was really off.
    Hal sucks

Not sure how I feel about Peralta. Stuff is insane, but he starts from a moving base and pulls the ball far too often into the RH batters box. He gave up 3 liners in his 4 batters and thankfully, two were hit right at the batters

German did enough to keep the game manageable. I'd take 3 runs over 5 innings from my #5 starter against the Astros lineup everyday. The bullpen was stellar yet again and kept the Astros at 3 runs. With Britton and O'Day out the depth of the bullpen has really shined this first month.

    Chapman: 10.0 IP, 0.00 ERA, 0.50 WHIP, 24 K
    Green: 17.2 IP, 1.02 ERA, 0.62 WHIP, 18 K
    Loaisiga: 17.1 IP, 1.04 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, 17 K
    Luetge: 16.2 IP, 3.78 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 17 K
    Cessa: 12.2 IP, 1.42 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 17 K
    King: 11.0 IP, 0.00 ERA, 0.73 WHIP, 9 K
    O'Day (injured): 9.0 IP, 3.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 9 K

That just leaves Wilson who has looked shaky since coming off the IL (6.2 IP, 5.40 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, 6 K) and Nick Nelson who was demoted because he's addicted to throwing his pitches middle-middle (8.1 IP, 9.72 ERA, 1.92 WHIP, 15 K).

Monty came up big against a really bad matchup for him with all those RH bats. Pen was lights out. Stanton is on fire. Hicks with a couple hits. Won 5 straight heading into a Cole start. Tomorrow should be fun
