The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
The Yanks are almost as close to the O's (-11.5) and the Rays (-8.5).
If they keep going 5-13, like they have in their last 18 games, maybe- just maybe...
When you say it's gonna happen now
When exactly do you mean?
So what’s the over/under date for Boone’s firing?
Without even going into Boone's shortcomings, sometimes you have to make a change to try and shake things up before it's too late. Try to light a fire under the underperforming players. Obviously, Cashman has to be on the line for it too. When you watch a couple of the pitchers he let go , and some of the ones he kept , you have to question his ability to judge talent and potential.
Old school is good school.
The Yankees should fire Boone and bring back Yankees great Willie Randolph! I liked Randolph as a manager and always believed he didn't get a fair shot with the Mets. He was fired by that dummy Omar Minaya.
Boone is a players manager who won’t call anyone out. We still need a player’s manager, we just need one who will call a guy out if needed and also knows how to manage a pen

Soulless. Best description of this team I have heard
I have to say I was impressed with Chapnan in this one. Second and third no out, it looked like he was going to blow another one, but he kept his cool, and was even smiling after the play Vlad got thrown out on.

The team responded for two games after the hottest heat was put on their manager. Call it coincidence, rising to the occasion, or dumb luck. Who knows. They need to go on a tear
I think they just got lucky last night. Jays are leaving on a lot of men on base right now, due to the mistakes they always make on the bases, not too dissimilar from the Yankees. This weekend will be interesting against the A's, now that Yankee Stadium is going to full capacity
