    I'm surprised by this "turn."
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

The service time rules need to be fixed. Anything that's this easy to manipulate will be manipulated. They need to change it so there's nothing to manipulate.

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

    Agreed.

Maybe Mathers' statements will help force that much needed change.

    The lamest part about baseball.

I think people have a knee jerk reaction to announcers. Remy was a popular guy , so they like him as an announcer even though he is average at best. And O'Brien is terrible. So often you hear folks say they can't stand Hawk Harrelson. But I loved watching him do the ChiSox games. His "over the top homer " persona added to the telecast.

"Different strokes for different folks", I think. Poster Donnie Sadler is not so much down on Remy about his announcing, but about his character.

I am glad that I am not a teacher. I couldn’t stick to the curriculum, any curriculum. But my students would be challenged and they would learn life skills.

I enjoyed Hawk. He was a colorful character and a good analyst and story teller.

My first Sox memories are Harrelson and Ned Martin oing Red Sox games.

In 2000, I moved to Chicago, and my first day here I turned on the TV and heard Harrelson doing a White Sox game. It was weird and made me feel oddly at home to hear him despite not having heard his voice in decades. It was like moving to a new state only to find your already knew your new neighbor...

No. That would be the Blackout Rules.

And the Luxury Tax in the current CBA is a close second...

I wish I had been old enough to hear Sean McDonough do Red Sox games. He's turned into one of my favorite voices at ESPN. Has been going through puberty for seemingly 40 years with all the voice cracks

    1. Blackout rules
    2. Service time issues
    3. Slow ass replay
    4. No DH in NL
    5. Luxury tax

I'm trying to figure out where I'd put "lack of a payroll floor." Fans of the O's and Pirates seem to get royally screwed.
