Of the 12 Ks by WooSox batters, Chavis was not one of them. Very encouraging.

    Duran: 0-4, K
    Downs: 0-4, 2K
    Chavis: 1-3, HBP, run
    Munoz: 2-4
    Arauz: 1-4, RBI single, K

    Houck: 3 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 4 K, 0 BB

It is worth pointing out that Buffalo pitched Nate Pearson, who is down at AAA rehabbing. Expected to be the Jays 3rd starter at the start of the year I believe, before all the injuries to their pitching staff.

    @IanCundall

Noteworthy hitting performances from Red Sox prospects on 5/4:

    Triston Casas (AA): 2-4, RBI, 2 K
    Jeter Downs (AAA): 0-4, 1 K
    Jarren Duran (AAA): 0-4, 2 K
    Ronaldo Hernandez (AA): 1-3
Connor Wong (AAA): 1-3, BB, K
Jeisson Rosario (AA): 2-3, R, RBI, BB

There's a place for Rosario if he can hit. Big question mark though.

We'll see if Casas gets put on the Devers track.

    Tanner Houck (AAA): 3 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
    AJ Politi (AA): 4 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 4 K
    Joan Martinez (AA): 1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K

Also, It'd be very nice if Feltman could shove this year.

The Dominican Summer League opens play this morning, weather permitting. Red Sox will have two teams in the league with lots of breakout candidates to track. Luis Perales throws upper 90s with a big curve. Miguel Bleis and Juan Chacon in the OF, Enderso Lira at C, got big money.
