Since they lost last night, I need to tell you what I REALLY feel about the 2021 Sox!

Just a reminder to everyone that this is definitely one of the all-time great threads, especially the title and OP.

The Sox are down 3 games to 2 to the Astros, and it's still been a memorable season. And people on talksox are definitely one of the reasons why.

I was hopeful yesterday afternoon that the 2021 Sox had a few more wins left in them. Maybe they still do?

Regardless, this season has been the most enjoyably frustrating team in recent memory. It made up for 2020 IMO and showed us there is a little hope for the future.

Win or lose, it's freaking awesome that a club that finished dead last with the worst pitching staff in team history last year still has at least one more game to play on the penultimate weekend of this season.

The next morning I remember walking down the halls in high school and people congratulating me; I didn't hit it, but they knew I was a big fan. There were some controlled low fives -- it was a few years before Dusty Baker invented the high five.
