Are fights at baseball games getting worse?

Hey there, you're good friend Tyler.... I have a question,

Since Covid has come to an end and most stadiums are filled to capacity I have noticed on my facebook feed almost every single day there is at least one fight if not more in a ball game. Yesterday it was the Dodgers game, the other day there was one in Cleveland.... One in Oakland etc etc.....

Are fist fights getting worse at games, or are people just getting better at getting them on video? I have been to my share of sports games, and I have been in the middle of some arguing (generally people that can't hold their booze) but it never has gone further then "your team sucks, look at the standings, you cheer for the wrong team"

Lately, it seems there is some nasty personal insults that lead to a straight up fist fight.... Man it's out of control. I understand that arguing and some friendly banter among rival teams is apart of the game, but to say something like "you're a fu**ing loser piece of trash" and then a brawl starts I really don't understand..... Seems to be getting way out of control.

People are too thin skinned. Words should not lead to violence.

Agreed. And at the same time there should never be personal attacks either. A friend of mine went to Houston for a game and he is a jays fan and there was some guys who kept calling Canada garbage and getting really personal. Nothing wrong with attacks about your team but when it gets into your country and family etc. That’s too much.

I'm afraid that COVID has made people in general a little nuttier.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
