    Rike Hernandez CF (!)
    Devers 3B
    JD Martinez DH
    Bogaerts SS
    Renfroe RF
    Verdugo LF
    Vazquez C
    Dalbec 1B
    Arauz 2B

A lot of familiar faces with Arauz a bit of a surprise, but last night, against a lefty (which he will also face tonight), he fielded well at 3B and got 2 hits.

    Roster moves:

Davis and Robles have been activated.

    Wong optioned to Worcester

Darwinzon Hernandez to the 10 day IL with a right oblique strain.

That last one could hurt. Dhern has been really solid in the 6th-7th inning relief role, and obliques can take a while to heal fully, which for a pitcher it has to before they should return. It's not a phantom stint, he's been pitching pretty well.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough

Also, Sale has been moved from Portland to Worcester.

It feels like Yarborough has been pitching for the Rays a long, long time.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

Who will step up tonight and make something good happen, maybe play with the lead for once, get a key hit, JDM actually strike a fair ball hard, EO throws a 9 inning 70 pitch shutout ? Someone please make a play and a difference

Nice, Eovaldi wasn't the one to step up.

Eovaldi has to pitch well here or we are screwed.

This is getting ridiculous right now. This team just looks dazed and pathetic right now.
