Today’s lineup is the Sox best lineup outside of the DH where JD, and Schwann you can flip.

The pitchers that Baltimore is running out there are truly an embarrassment to the sport. It is really not even any fun watching them get pummeled .
    Old school is good school.

Imho, EO should finish the season as one of the top 5 in Cy Young voting. Based on the ballpark he pitches half his games in, based on the defense behind him, and based on his stats, he is definitely a contender. His won/lost record is an excellent example of how misleading that stat is.

Doesn't EO benefit from his offense playing half of games in the same ballpark?

Bases loaded and no outs, Xander and JD strikes out.

On the bright side, JD did not hit into inning ending double play.

His WAR, 4.7, is currently 4th among AL starters. Among the top AL starters, Eovaldi is 2d in innings pitched.

Plawecki prevents that from being embarrassing.

Not lately; they haven’t been scoring while he’s on the mound his last 4 or 5 starts. They’ve put up some runs after he’s been out of the game, but not while he’s been on the hill.
The Yankees could go 0-162 and it wouldn't be enough
