Too high. They should be closer to Kansas/Fresno State.

Let’s not get carried away just, because ND, and Ohio State were both undefeated. This was not a battle of 2 juggernauts, and neither was one of the two schools better teams from the past. Duke will be a tough game up next.

    Who is getting carried away?

Had Ohio St fallen short of that TD, ND would surely have been ranked 6th or 7th, but as with all ranking services, it's all just speculation and "suspects," right?

Maybe they wouldn't deserve that ranking, but that's how the NCAA system works.

Beating Duke will help their perception of being good.

    Remaining Domer Schedule:
    @ Duke #17
    @ Louisville
    vs USC #8
    off week
    vs PITT
    @ Clemson
    off week
    vs Wake Forest
    @ Stanford

Probably looking at 3 losses- 2 with some luck.

Probably a better chance at 4 losses than 2.

I think they will beat Clemson. Beating both Duke and USC would be impressive. I expect them to lose one. Hopefully the weather in South Bend does not cooperate the night USC comes to town, which of course would favor the Irish.

I have been far more fascinated by college football instead of the NFL thus far. Not that it matters. Just an observation

I haven't enjoyed the NFL much in years. College football is better, IMO.

I enjoy March madness more than the NBA playoffs.

MLB beats college baseball, hands down.

I definitely prefer NFL over college, primarily also because I play a lot of fantasy football and find it easier to bet on than college.

When you grow up in Connecticut and go to the state's flagship university, you also prefer March Madness to the NBA playoffs

Yale and Quinnipiac regularly roast UConn in hockey, although that has changed a little bit since UConn went to Hockey East

Sam Hartman is one hell of a player. That 4th down run was a player winners make
