But if they create a scab league, you won’t get any players with union aspirations. So it’s not like Casas and Bello come play for the Red Sox, but we might get Kyle Hart and Devlin Granberg…

I'm not sure they can legally start a scab league since they've locked the players out. I believe they could only have scabs if there was a strike.

The owners have more expensive and therefore better lawyers. I.E. they can do what they want…

Plus, their lawyers seem to be making obvious mistakes that may open the owners up for a law suit or a loss in an arbitration format.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

They got the owners once before for collusion.

    Maybe 4 times?

As part of the 2006 CBA, the owners paid $12M out of luxury tax funds towards the players due to the 2002-3 suspicion of collusion.

The owners just cancelled games and told the union that the games the owners are cancelling will not generate pay for the players. Despite the existence of contracts and lack of a strike.

Not only are the owners doing anything they want, they’re blaming the union for it…

    Maybe.

Looks like 3 guilty verdicts plus a settlement…

Because it got derailed to something more interesting. When I saw people were still posting to it I figured it could no longer be about O'Neill LOL
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

There isn't much else to talk about. Anything baseball related is going to be swarmed on.

That's why I never had a conversation about NYY retired numbers until this year.
