    4/24 Sox at Rays

    Hill vs. McClanahan

Let's score some runs and win.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

No reflection on Hill, but the SOX may need many runs to win. On second thought I guess that is a reflection on Hill. As always, I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not brimming with confidence either. Sometimes you need things to go differently than you expect them to go LOL

2 runs. I just wonder how long it will take to get some more.

This team is so tough to watch. Inconsistent hitting and shitty starting pitching at times.

They gonna need more runs man. Hill very fortunate to get out of that.

It must be taken with a grain of salt the power figures of a player who played his entire career in thin air Colorado.

Said it yesterday, now will be redundant. Story's throw including that last off balance one that Dalbec saved are a real concern

I'm glad for Rich Hill to still be pitching at 42 years old, and the Sox actually need him until Frail and maybe Paxton show up in a useful capacity, BUT watching Rich deliver the ball just reminds me of a beer league softball pitcher lobbing it up there, albeit with some spin

Good throw by Refsnyder. The SOX are gonna continue to need more good throws from the OF.

This offense looks like it might play dead the rest of the way.

    They’re making hill work here.

One would expect that a pitcher whose only strength on the mound is experience would have better control.

I did notice that Casas went 3-4 yesterday with a HR.

Not that I expect JD to have an overpowering year, at least his presence in the line-up makes that deep dark hole from 6-9 somewhat shallower.
