Hit the nail on the head about Story didn’t he!
Garbage signing when Closer was a priority

    Jansen 8 saves 14IP 20k for 1yr 16mill

Bloom is on roll maybe he’ll extend Barnes ? “Oh I forgot”

Cassas left the Worcester game early today. Was it an ejection, injury or something else?

    @alexspeier
Triston Casas rolled his ankle while tagging up on a flyball in the Triple-A WooSox game and was removed from the game for precautionary reasons.

So one week later, it seems like realistic view III: turn around quick or sell off is the most likely scenario.

Might as well dangle some guys before someone gets injured.

There's just something about the way the pens have been created so far. When Story was signed, it seemed like the beginning of the end for this phase of the Sox.

I think brighter days are to come, but it looks bleak right now.

I agree, but how long it takes to get to the brighter days is the big question. Red Sox fans are not to patient.

I disagree. If 2023 includes Casas and Bello playing well, I think fans will have more hope in Bloom's plan for the future.

Yorke and Mayer could be up in 2024.

You don't think a few years of rebuilding will hurt attendance and ratings?

How many actual years of rebuilding have there been to date?

That's the common perception, but we lived through those last place finishes in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

In that horrible, no good, down right terrible year of 2015 they finished 7th in home attendance with an average of 35,564.

    "But don't you think..."

    Shut the fuck up...

I was referring to 2023 & 2024 being rebuilding years with this year being the tear down year.
