The catcher they traded for was arrested for public masterbation.

How could anyone root for these guys or a team that makes an effort to acquire them?
    Yup
It’s a slap in the face all right. I hope the fans respond by boycotting some games.

What has happened to this organization?

Message to John Henry: call Theo. He probably doesn't want to come back but you could always try, no harm in trying.

    This acquisition is indefensible.

I'm pretty sure MOON will like his CERA.

But I will bet you any amount you want that it WILL be defended, and by posters here.

Some of the posters here are trolls. Do they count?

I can't help but wonder if that will be mentioned tonight on ESPN?

I’m sure they’ll beat it to death.

I fully expect the Red Sox to fix things and turn the team around next year. We can argue all day in what that entails. Firing bloom? Trusting blooms process? Whatever. But if you’re upset at selling off expiring contracts then you’d have been the people who died on the titanic. Wake up and smell the coffee.

And some of them are very weak attempts at being a stand up comic. Do they count?
