Those moves all not surprises. Anderson, Vogelbach and Gray would get more on the open market so the teams kept them. Similarly, Bassitt declined his option as he'd get more. Cruz is overpaid so the team declined their portion of the mutual option. Cruz may retire?
There's still time before the next contract is printed.
The thing is, every major signing this winter may be followed by us saying, "I would not have paid that much for _____"
