Where might Zanetello place? I'm thinking Teel should be 7th, and since the next guys will be pushed back, Z might be placed just in front of Paulino at #18.

Teel to me could be as high as #4. Excellent college resume (performance and level of competition) combined with a high likelihood of staying behind the plate. In terms of "likelhood of being a solid major leaguer" he leaps to near the very top of the Sox prospect pile. Really comes down to how you feel about the probability without QUITE as sexy a ceiling as other players.

They said Teel would be 6th ahead of Drohan most likely. I'm assuming that Nazzan would be 18th ahead of Paulino, but have no idea.

Rounds 3 - 10 will be a cluster of slot to below slot guys we've never heard of. My guess is that there will be a few driveline college pitchers in there.

Which makes sense, since a lot of those are high-floor guys, and you're more likely to hit on mid-rotation arms there.

I guess - but the Red Sox got two Top 40 talents out of lower positions. All drafts are crapshoot to a certain degree and MLB is more than that.

The Sox have seemed to have gotten some decent results from the "senior sign" pitchers. Expectations are limited - but more than org players. Put another way - Chris Murphy being any sort of big leaguer at all is a big win for that sort of player.
