Boy that Roger's OF has remained slow as molasses since they replaced it. Does not seem to have gotten a lick quicker.
I remember the first artificial turf baseball parks. The ball just scooted.
And that is that.
Sweep! Sweep! Sweep!
What a crap team of losers we have!
What a bullshit loss that was. Chapman should have been rung up on the previous pitch. Springer got the same bullshit call in his favour last week and got a GWH. Blue Jays have horseshoe luck.
Whitlock hasn't been the same since the starter experiment. I hope he can reset for next year in the bullpen or else that was a cluster fuck of a move
Except for Martin, Bello, Devers, Turner and a couple others, there's really nobody on this team I'd miss if they weren't here next season. I wouldn't miss Cora either.

Pitching the ninth inning is challenging and tough, as both Swanson and Whitlock found out. It is an entirely different atmosphere.
Old school is good school.
No reason to bring back Kenley next season. He'll just have more aches and pains than he did this season.
I'm happy bringing back these guys:
C: Wong
1B: Casas
2B:
SS:
3B: Devers
LF: Abreu
CF: Rafaela
RF: Dugo
DH:
SP: Bello
RP: Jansen, Martin, Houck, Whitlock, Crawford
I'm okay with
C2: McGuire
2B: Urias & Reyes
SS: Story
LF: Duran, Refsnyder (v LHPs ONLY)
DH: Yoshida
SP: Pivetta as the #5 only, Sale as the #6 only
RP: Wink, Schreiber, Bernardino, Murphy, Kelly, Joely
I may be the pink hat optimist, but to me we are three extremely major players away from being a playoff team, assuming normal health:
SP1
SP2
SP4
If we could also add a LH RP'er and RHB OF'er, I'd think we'd be a favorite to make the playoffs. I know, saying "just" 3 major SP'ers away is like asking for the world, but it is only 3 slots.
