Abreu and Valdez. Bloom did get two good ballplayers for VAZ. Credit where credit's due.

Nice 3 run shot by Valdez, a man who is not afraid of RISP. Earning a job or a transfer

Once Houck left the game and the BP guys have been excellent, the Sox hitters are trying to get them back into the game. First time in a while

Dever’s trying hard not to get to 100 RBIs , as he has none in his last 7 games

Connor Wong cannot deal with the sweeper . He looks ridiculous on that pitch

Now that I see that Kenley is available to pitch tonight, my question is why was Martin not used to start the 8th inning? Of course, these dumb ass announcers never brought it up.

The fact is he's not a very good hitter.

He's been a disappointment with very misleading stats.

Houck should not be in the rotation next year. He is a bullpen guy at best.

In a year or so Wong will be the back up, and Teel will be the starter.

In a very winnable game when the score was 7-6 after a very good comeback by the SOX, Cora doesn't use his best reliever. This is just another reason why I'd love to see the fool fired.

Maybe McGuire will be the backup; at least he can hit.

3 Ks by Devers in a potentially winnable game.

Yet another way to lose. Have your starter go down 7-0 in the first 3 innings, come all the way back only to have your 8th inning marginal guy and his follow up, give up two more runs, then have 2 guys K with 2 RISP in bottom 8.

The Rays have to laugh coming into Boston
