There's only one intrigue left: can the Sox lose their last two, while hoping for a Detroit-Cleveland split, thus giving the hapless trio identical 77 win records? It could make the diff between getting the 12th overall draft pick and... breaking into the TOP 10, Bahbee!

Can the SOX lose their last two? More than likely.

With MLB so concerned with shortening the time of games, it should give an award to a player who has most contributed to speeding up the game. My vote would go to Devers.

Bulletin: m This just in, Yoshida hits a ground ball to the right side and is thrown out.

If this legal alien does not work very hard to hit the ball to the left side , he will be a waste of a signing.

All he needs is MLB to change the rule to force teams to play a reverse shift.
When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

Duvall would have been as productive if he tried to make his triple an inside the park HR. Who knows, maybe 3 bad relay throws and he would have scored. That wasn't going to happen with Story and Valdez following his 3 base hit. Mo' LOB/RISP

WTF is Turner doing trying to steal second on Rutschman with 2 outs ? Makes little sense, w2ith Devers on 3rd.

Go O’s! Sox need to lose the last two and hope for a Tigers-Indians split.
This team sucks. Henry owes the fans an apology. If he can’t produce a competitive team by 2025 he needs to sell it. We couldn’t even finish ahead of a bad Yankee team.
Just pathetic. The only good news is that it will all be over for the Flops tomorrow.

He wants to end the game ASAP and go home.
    Can’t blame him.

You might question the opponents motivations this late, but Crawford is joining Sale, Pivetta, and Houck in providing a very good shutout style start, at least through today.

Turner, or the manager, figured the O's catcher wouldn't throw to second with speedster Devers on 3rd. Turner, or the manager, figured wrong.

I may be wrong, but I seriously doubt Turner has a green light on the bases.

That's a low blow Splinter. Besides while he has sped up the game via his AB's Rafi has slowed the game by giving the opponent 4 outs an inning in the field.

He has a blinking red and ignored it. Happens lots in Massachusetts. JT has moved right in and has acclimated nicely.
