There is not reason to think the Yanks will have less injuries, next year. Their roster is full of injury-prone players or over 30 guys bound to decline.

They have some big name players who rate to still be great in 2024, but so many holes to fill, it will take a huge wallet-opening, this winter to begin to fix them all.

Maybe some rising prospects will do the trick on a couple, but there are way more than a couple to fill.

When you say it's gonna happen now
    When exactly do you mean?

Hal says major changes are on the horizon after their end of year meetings….that he didn’t attend…..and no changes were made

Lot's of hot air coming from the Yankee and Sox talking heads.

Yanks in on Soto. With the prospects they’d have to deal and the cost of the extension, why not just sign Ohtani? Save the prospects and when Ohtani’s arm is right, he can be a TOTR starter

Soto just turned 25. Ohtani is 29... with no guarantee he'll ever be a good pitcher again, or for how long.

The major changes were getting rid of a hitting instructor they had for only half a season.

Not really unexpected, but still. German has some real talent.

He does, but he has his issues. He might need to go overseas to rebuild his value

I think, if he goes through a rigorous rehab center and agrees to be tested (if the union allows it,) he might play MLB, in 2024.

I don’t see a stint overseas causing anyone to overlook German’s off field alcohol and spouse abuse issues…

No, they will overlook it, regardless, if they think he can be a big help on the mound.

Absolutely, but they can just as easily do that a week from now as opposed to watching him pitch for the Doosan Bears for a year first…

Maybe he's referring to Bauer only being able to get a job overseas last year.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
