Having a FIP that much higher than the ERA usually means most of the SOX starters have been lucky. At least that's my understanding of FIP.
That being said, a 1.92 ERA is still damn impressive.

Re-watching that collision from yesterday begs the question should the SOX players where their helmets on defense?

I hope those kids don't cause any injuries to the SOX players.

Pitchers have been all hitting their upside. How long can that last? Who knows. Too bad the defense or bats weren't a little more consistent behind them. Nice start by Whitlock.

    Dear Mr. Henry,
I appreciate the championships- but I'm watching today's game to see a competitive team. I don't keep going back to restaurants who serve terrible food because two years ago I had a great meal there.

Did NESN lose all their sponsors?

FIP is all about Ks, BBs and HRs, or things that are Fielding Independent.

I think we all know our fielders hurt our pitchers.

Look at our BAbip Against vs the other leaders.

    Getting exposed against good competition.

That was one of the dumbest base running plays I’ve ever seen.
