    4/17 Cleveland @ Boston, 7:10 pm

    Lively, RHP vs Houck, RHP

Guardians now 12-5 and the Sox 9-9 (and 2-6 at Fenway Park).

Attendance last night was 30K, so maybe the natives are getting restless.

In addition to the errors and the weak hitting, the pitching is struggling, especially the bullpen.

Cora asked me for more time on the lineup, and told him it's not that hard.

Nothing is as hard as it used to be?
"Fans have become more entitled than anything. So they're starting to question our motives for the game, or how we approach the game. The ones that do question -- like who are you? Just shut up and watch the game tonight." --Kevin Durant on players' lack of effort in regular season games.

Unless you're not very good with technological stuff. Then everything is harder.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

The Red Sox are facing a real meatball pitcher tonight, so if they can’t hit this guy I don’t know what else to say.

I have MLB Extra Innings on Direct TV so all the Sox games are on. For over 60 years I have faithfully watched the Red Sox whenever I could. This team just doesn't excite me or make me want to watch them. Its a shame what John Henry is doing to this franchise. And, yes, I am extremely thankful for the 4 WS championships (04, 07, 13, 18) but these last place finishes are a disgrace and they are an insult to all Red Sox fans.

Well I just saw tonight's lineup on Red Sox First Pitch. I would comment further but it has sent me to an early visit to the liquor cabinet.

Watching the Yankems/Jays game and it's apparent the AL East will be a two team race.
I believe the SOX will have more competition for last place than in the last few years.

    Casas
    Abreu
    Valdez
    Wong
    Hamilton
    Reyes(3B)
    Rafaela

The bottom 3 is more of a canyon than a hole.

The SOX are blessed having two back up 3rd basemen.

When I post at all,...its sarcasm.

I virtually only posted two or three times last year because the forum did not deserve my caustic sarcasm. This year, we deserve everything we get.
