    Robb Nen isn't even worth a minor league contract, no way some one can come back from that.

    BTW, I believe the Cubs closer is Ryan Dempster's job to lose. But I think they should of gave Hawkins a better chance, or better yet Boworski.

    Here are Nen's (only one n, his first name is the one with the double letters at the end) stats. He kind of fell of the face of the earth there, and they don't even know if he'll be able to pitch in 2005.

    Nen still hoping to pitch in 2005 That is a AP story from August 16, 2004.

    It's approaching two years since Robb Nen last pitched in the majors, but he still believes he can do it again -- despite his troublesome right shoulder.

    "I'm still doing everything I can to give myself a chance," Nen said Monday during a visit to San Francisco to see his Giants teammates. "We'll see what happens."
    That is the latest i could find on him.
