In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
'Til we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves

Played out a bit, but still good.

Okay, I'm going to get some grief for this. My taste in music is pretty far and wide. I'm not really into heavy metal, country and sappy pop, although some sap oozes to my liking.
There are a few songs and bands I simply cannot stand, and even my wife knows to quickly change the car radio station when this song comes on...
Don't Stop Believing
-Journey
The song checks all the boxes, but I can't stand it. If it is playing and I can't turn it off, I'll sing it in a fake, overly sappy mocking voice until someone either yells at me to stop or changes the tune. I don't like any Journey tunes, but this is grating the chalkboard horrific, to me. (I hate Batty Manilow, too. Probably second on my hate list. I have my reasons.)
How about we each post the song we dislike the most?

I like it for the cheese factor. The 80's were limited in truly great music. But excelled in cheese.
kind of like this.

This might be mine, depending on what day you ask me...

Wow, cliche city!
"Cheese" is the perfect word. I have used sap, but this is better.
Here's another cliche overload...
Why Can't This Be Love

Worst songs. Anything by Madonna or Whitney Houston. I even liked that stuff when it was popular, now it makes me ill.

Wrong link. You linked the Journey song to this post.
Here is the link you wanted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tvRSFAVAqU
And no way for me, I'm not a fan of this song at all.

LOL. With you on both.
The one Madonna song I thought was bearable, maybe because I never knew it was her until years later was...
