This is an interesting blog from Alan Dershowitz alleging that Jimmy Carter has been bought by anti-semitic Arab oil interests. This is very surprising to me since Dershowitz is no political conservative and no fan of George Bush. Carter is the hero of the anti-Bush crowd.

interest rates were in double digits as was unemployment
and gas went from 40cents a gallon in 76 to 1.25 in 80..
he also surrounded himself with some incompetant nitwits who didnt help his cause

i consider him the most moral man we've had in the whitehouse in my lifetime yet his administration was certainly a failure by every and all standards with the exception of human rights and peace in the mid east
