Don't follow EPL or MLS much, but am a huge USMNT/USWNT fan. Also the Azzurri (Italy). Looking forward to the World Cup big-time. We happened to be in Italy in 2012 when the UEFA Cup was winding down. Watching Italy defeat Germany and being in the streets of Rome was amazing. And watching Spain destroy Italy 4-0 in the final while in Venice was also cool (while depressing).

Huge soccer fan here but only follow my local team and England so it probably isn't even worth mentioning.

Anybody pay attention to the European leagues? I'm a big follower of Bundesliga, La Liga, the Premier League, and to a lesser extent, Serie A. I think NBCSN has opened up a huge new fan base by bringing the EPL to the US. And next year the Bundesliga comes to Fox Sports. For just pure football entertainment, today's Wolfsburg - Bayern game was a great example of what's in store next season.

Give Chelsea the trophy already. Arsenal aren't overcoming a ten point deficit with only six games left. Still, anyone but Man Utd.
    Priorities:
    1. Yankees lose
    2. Red Sox win

It's about time someone tried to clean up FIFA, God knows Blatter won't do it. He could at least save us the self-pitying denial of any wrong when the game has become more corrupt than politics on his watch. His reelection is a disaster.

I don't follow soccer much. I do think that his denial of any responsibility for what has happened on his watch is total bullshit.

The fuck said that he could not keep an eye on everyone who works under or with him.

What a cop-out. It's like that scene in the movie CASINO where DeNiro fires the hick in charge of the slots.

    Absolute power corrupts I guess.

The Gunners won the Cup and Manchester United didn't win the league. I have to say it was a good season.

It's matter of time, Blatter will go to jail. He is a big rat.

Who knows if he will see jail time but he has to either be crooked or very, very stupid.

Or both. He's an absolute slimeball. I couldn't be happier that he's out of there, but the next guy better come in and sweep shop and lock shit down.

By the way, how many slave laborers have died building the stadia in Qatar? I believe we're into triple digits, and I'm not talking about the temperature.

Any onlookers for the upcoming euro 2016 here? I will be cheering for team England to bag the title but in terms of which country I would put my money on, that would be team Germany.

England were perfect in the qualifying but they don't do well once they're up against the big boys in these tournaments.
