If you listened to he briefing you would know that he didn't say this. I note that the quotes are accurate, but the unquoted language is not accurate and it is misleading. The portion of his comments referring to George Floyd was in the context of his discussion about equal protection under the law. People intentionally mangle everything he says.

    Here's what he said:

Michael Jordan and his company are pledging $100 million over the next 10 years to the battle against racial injustice.

Now here is a man putting his money where his mouth is. Good to see.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1

The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.

I am curious to see how he intends to buy racial justice. We have been working at this for decades and as far as I can see little progress has been made. Its like the gun issue: people here are still allowed to buy and carry automatic weapons and are using them to kill masses of innocent victims. Every time it happens there is a clamor to fix the problem and at the end of the day nothing gets done.

Well, of course you can't buy it. I believe the aim is to financially support organizations who are trying to better things.

No one can buy an automatic weapon. An AR 15 is not an automatic weapon, it is a semi automatic. There is a huge difference.

Does anybody know for sure if LTCF's are getting direct funding based on infected numbers?

Weird things happening at mom's memory care in Western Mass. Virtually no PPE. Now taking Covid patients. No more social distancing for the general population.
THE WORKERS? They know, & THEY keep their distance.

    THEY are scared!

Now.... with summer vacations coming up, they are doing what they promised not to do. Making the memory care workers work upstairs with the general Assisted Care Living residents, many of whom tested positive.

It is fucking stunning. The state and world know the VULNERABLE population, talk a good game about the need to protect them, but I honestly don't think they really give a shit.

    Why?

    True.

But there are any methods of converting it to an automatic weapon that are still legal?

Well, Joe Biden sure cleared up a lot when he explained that 10 to 15 per cent of Americans are just not very good people.

Which is what - 33 million to 49 million people.

You can see that's a pretty big issue.

No, there are not. There are no legal means of converting a semi-automatic weapon into an automatic weapon. Just like sawing off a shot gun would not be a legal modification.

People blather lots of information about firearms that know nothing about them. For instance, there is no “internet loophole”. If you buy a firearm from a private individual on the Internet, the transferor has to do the transfer using a Federal Firearms Licensed (FLL) dealer and the purchaser must take possession from an FFL on his end. The FFL on the purchasing end runs a background check. That is what is required.

How many bullets can an AR 15 fire off one after the other without reloading? Does anyone really need large magazines to go hunting bambi with?

And it is near impossible for an individual to get that Federal License.

Let me answer that: about 40 rounds per minute. Why on earth would a hunter need to fire off 40 rounds per minute.

Answer: these guns are not made for hunting animals other than people.
